Under the cover of night, they sneakily plaster these posters in cities worldwide. The iconic tote bag features thirteen ironic statements, made from recycled materials. The artwork is a nod to the 1988 piece by Guerrilla Girls, titled "The Advantages of Being a Woman Artist," which was acquired by Tate London in 2003. Each member of Guerrilla Girls takes on the persona of a renowned female artist, both to protect their anonymity and to celebrate the brilliance of these creators. Without the vision of female and artists of color, you are only seeing a fraction of the art world.
