Archer Prewitt is an artist, cartoonist and musician living with his wife in Oak Park, IL. He received a BFA in printmaking from the Kansas City Art Institute. His brightly colored, darkly humorous Sof`Boy And Friends is published by Drawn & Quarterly of Montreal. Sof`Boy has been included in the anthologies Kramer`s Ergot, BLAB!, Zero Zero, Sturgeon White Moss, Mome, and McSweeney`s Quarterly Concern. A new story is in the works with the plan of releasing an omnibus book. Prewitt also records and tours with The Sea And Cake, a Chicago "post-rock" band that has been consistently making music for a quarter century, and has five solo albums under his own name.
