Hopefully, this will be creating unexpected juxtapositions that might elicit shock and new perceptions, canceling the sleepy accepted dogma we all live under. The essays will be paring the famous and the infamous, the profound and the absurd, the beloved and the forgotten, the monstrous and the miniscule.
Christian Bjone is a practicing architect in New York City, educated at the University of Illinois, Chicago and Princeton University. He is the author of four books on art and architectural history, one of which, Art + Architecture: Strategies in Collaboration, has been translated into German.
