Follies
Chloe Varelid, a trained architect and educator, designed Follies to promote the importance of play. With numerous awards and a passion for harnessing play as a tool for positive impact, Chloe frequently lectures on the subject. She resides in Washington, D.C. with her young family and strives to give back to those in need, particularly displaced children who often lack access to play spaces for extended periods of time. Through donations and partnerships with non-for-profits, Follies has reached over 1000 displaced children, collaborating with the Homeless Children Playtime Project in our local community and teaming up with the NGO Odyssea to launch a pilot program supporting refugee communities in Chloe's hometown of Athens, Greece.
