Keith Haring's instantly iconic paintings and images are among the most recognizable from any artist. Out of all the artists who emerged from the New York graffiti scene in the late '70s and '80s, Haring has had the greatest impact on popular culture. Today, his work remains incredibly significant - Haring was an early and outspoken advocate for diversity, using his art to combat all forms of prejudice. He was, and still is, universally adored. In this dynamic new exploration of Haring's life, we gain a deeper understanding of the man behind the art: his upbringing, favorite spots in NYC, iconic subway art, party scene, and his passionate activism for the LGBTQ+ community. We also learn about his powerful campaigns against the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS, which ultimately led to his tragic passing at just 31 years old.
