With more than 70 original creations and 40 collaborative pieces to his name, Ole has established himself as a visionary in the field since designing his inaugural mobile, Futura, in 1950. Flensted Mobiles is a renowned Danish design brand that has created handmade hanging art since its establishment in 1953.

Founded by the eccentric and passionate Christian Flensted, the brand has designed hanging art that are made to last for generations and promote a sense of balance in the mind. Each piece is crafted by hand with precision and care, maintaining the same production approach that has been in place since 1953.

The hanging art is assembled by local craftsmen within a 30-kilometer radius of the headquarters in Denmark and sold worldwide in 53 markets.

From 1982 to 2023, the company was led by Ole and Aase Flensted, who contributed to the development of classic Flensted Mobiles designs that embody the brand's unique DNA. Today, the company is owned by Christophe Duez, the third generation, and led by CEO Jesper Hammer. With a presence in esteemed stores and renowned museums, Flensted Mobiles has established itself as a true Danish design classic with its aesthetic handmade pieces.
