The exhibition Material Evidence: Chicago Architecture at 2000 breaks new ground in defining as a primary interest of architects today a fascination with the possibilites of new materials and technologies. Guest curator Cynathia Davidson has choices as well as her analysis of this phenomenon, which preoccupies an international spectrum of architects. Her work enriches and enlarges the scope of understanding of current directions within Chicago's contemporary architectural panorama.
