Designed by Mary Patten for the ACT UP/Chicago Women's Caucus, the “Chicago Dykes Rule – Pussy by the Lake" banner sketch was originally made for the first Dyke March on Washington in April 1993. Featured in our exhibition, City in a Garden: Queer Art and Activism in Chicago, the banner sketch is now available on this 100% cotton canvas tote bag that’s perfect for everyday essentials.

City in a Garden: Queer Art and Activism in Chicago is an intergenerational group exhibition that highlights Chicago’s essential yet underacknowledged role in the story of queer art and activism. Learn more about the exhibition here.
