A pair of large, lightweight hoop earrings with an organic design.
Designer Lingua Nigra says, "I created these earrings from existing shapes that I previously designed. This lightweight hoop swings with ease in your ear on a 22kt gold plated sterling silver earwire.
The earring, which can look like lips, cowrie shells or leaves is lightweight and wonderful to wear. A great update to the classic hoop earring!"

Lingua Nigra is the jewelry brand of Chicago-born designer. Nigra has been creating jewelry since childhood, but it wasn’t until she was earning her degree at The State University of New York Fashion Institute of Technology that she realized that creating impactful work in metal was her true calling. During her 18 years of living in New York City, Lingua worked for many talented small designers and also larger jewelry brands, all the while adding work to her own unique line of jewelry. Nigra's handcrafted work, which is made of brass, silver and gold, is inspired by nature, with a focus on ancient talismans, Victorian era work and mourning sentimental jewelry.
