Tired traditional fruit peelers, creative mind Larry Tchogninou wanted to create something more natural and zen looking. A fruit Tchogninou eats everyday, mangos were the inspiration behind the Ataulfo Fruit Peeler.
Staying true to the lexical field of "peel", the main material used here is leather. Mimicking the texture of mango skin, the leather performs the perfect visual trick.

Larry Tchogninou is a polymath multidisciplinary creative, product designer, and architecture student from Benin who has lived in Chicago since 2018. He is currently completing his Bachelors of Architecture at IIT (Illinois Institute of Technology). His work is an ode to optimism. His goal is to constantly show that it is never late for new ideas.
It is a new way to approach product design. Not a brand, but a philosophy. A different way to think and reimagine the familiar.
