Basquiat Horn Players Tote Bag
Pickup available at Museum of Contemporary Art Store
Usually ready in 2-4 days
Raw, rhythmic and unapologetically bold. The Horn Players (1983) recycled reusable tote bag channels Jean-Michel Basquiat’s explosive energy and his deep connection to jazz, Black culture and street art. Lightweight, foldable and durable, it’s an eco-friendly shopping bag made to carry art beyond museum walls. Art history fun fact: Basquiat often referenced jazz musicians in his work, using rhythm and repetition as visual equivalents of sound. © Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat. Licensed by Artestar, New York.
The reusable tote bag can carry up to 22 lbs and is water resistant.
Preferably hand wash to preserve the water resistant coating. Machine wash at 30°C in a washing bag, to prevent fibres entering the wastewater.
