Created in celebration of the exhibition Faith Ringgold: American People. Featuring Faith Ringgold's artwork, Black Light Series #12: Party Time, 1969, this hoodie displays Ringgold's artwork on the front of the hoodie and the exhibition title on the back on the hoodie.

This artwork is the twelve piece for Ringgold's Black Light Series, in which Ringgold paints variations of dark color tones of different figures and faces in a geometrical pattern.

Several aspects of painting and composition developed throughout the Black Light series such as the variations of dark color tones within select palettes, the rendering of figures and faces in abstracted planes of color, and the composition of the paintings into geometrical patterns.

This hoodie features a drawstring hoodie, ribbed waist and cuffs.
