About the Brand
Moomin Arabia
Tove Jansson studies art both in Finland and abroad and she starts making Moomintroll paintings. Her first Moomin-like character is later seen in the magazine Garm in 1943. As a visual artist, illustrator and author, Jansson expanded and transformed her expression tirelessly up to the last years of her life. Her works are a reflection of an entire life philosophy, eliciting enthusiastic responses from children and adults alike in all countries where her works are known.
In all, nine books were released in the series, together with four picture books and a comic strip being released between 1954 and 1975. In addition to the Moomin books and comics, Tove Jansson also received recognition for her short stories and novels.
