The MCA may review and update our privacy practices periodically and ask that you periodically review this page to ensure familiarity with the most current version. The MCA is committed to protecting the intellectual property rights of visual, sound, literary, and performing artists and others who hold copyright. With the exception of fair use as defined by US copyright law, the MCA expressly prohibits the reproduction, distribution, downloading, transmission, sale, transfer, creation of derivative works, modification, public display, public performance, or publication of any materials on this website. Commercial use of any materials on the MCA website is expressly forbidden.
Images, text, software, documentation, electronic text and image files, audio and video clips, and other materials (the “Contents”) on this site are either © MCA Chicago or used with permission by MCA Chicago; and are protected under United States and international copyright laws.
Requests for Contents are accepted by emailing the Rights and Images Department (imageservices@mcachicago.org) and are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please provide all available details about the image or text you are seeking and the publication or method in which it would be used.

Therefore, you are responsible for obtaining reproduction rights from any third-party rights holders. The institutional names, building images, trademarks, and logos that appear on the MCA website are registered and unregistered marks of the MCA. Special terms of use for the press section of the website
Except where noted, images and texts on the MCA press website may be downloaded and reproduced only by members of the media for the sole purpose of timely reporting in newspapers, magazines, television, radio, web publications, and other media. Use of images and texts for any other reason and at any time after the close of the exhibition or program may be subject to additional permission requirements. Press materials may not be downloaded or reproduced by commercial stock houses or archives or by members of the general public.
Security
We use Verisign to protect the security of your online store order information and to encrypt your order information and prevent it from being decoded by anyone other than the MCA. We use Tessitura to facilitate purchases through our Box Office.
Venue and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Each party hereby irrevocably consents to exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
Miscellaneous
These Terms of Use express the complete understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior and contemporaneous communications and agreements, written or oral, regarding this website. If any provision of this Agreement or portion thereof is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. Failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of the Terms of Use by you or others will not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right of the MCA. These Terms of Use or any rights hereunder, are not transferable by you. The Terms of Use will inure to the benefit of the MCA and its successors and assigns.
