In response, he created Chicano Eats, a platform to showcase his passion for design, cooking, and culture, as well as a space to uplift authentic Latino voices, recipes, and stories. The blog has now evolved into a bicultural and bilingual cookbook, featuring 85 mouth-watering traditional and fusion Mexican recipes, beautifully presented. Chicano cuisine is a blend of Mexican food and Chicano culture, shaped by the diverse communities in the United States. While staying true to traditional ingredients and techniques such as chiles, beans, tortillas, corn, and tomatillos, it also boldly incorporates exciting new flavors, local ingredients, and influences from other cultures and regions in the country.
