The artwork is a nod to the 1988 piece by Guerrilla Girls, titled "The Advantages of Being a Woman Artist," which was acquired by Tate London in 2003. Each member of Guerrilla Girls takes on the persona of a renowned female artist, both to protect their anonymity and to celebrate the brilliance of these creators.
