Whether you like to sketch on the go or prefer longer, more technical studies, the new hardbound Karst Stone Paper Sketchbooks comes in sizes A4 and A5. Equipped with 240 gsm stone paper, this A4 Sketchbook is a jack-of-all-trades, allowing you to hone your skills in both wet and dry mediums. Made with a unique stone paper material, the pages are absolutely waterproof, guaranteeing zero-bleed through, even with wet mediums like watercolor.

Karst Stone Paper™ is 80-90% crushed stone (calcium carbonate) and 20-10% non-toxic resin which is used to bind the stone particles. The end product is very similar to traditional wood-pulp paper, however, it’s waterproof, smoother, brighter, and more durable than traditional paper. Karst Stone Paper is ISO 14001:2004 certified, alongside ROHS, REACH and FDA. Most importantly, Karst's stone paper has the C2C environment certificate. No trees, no water, no bleach, no acids, and no toxic chemicals are used to make stone paper.

Features:

  • Waterproof and tear-resistant
  • Recyclable and tree-free
  • Friction-free writing
  • 60% lower carbon footprint
  • 96 Blank pages
  • 200-micron thick paper (equivalent to 240gsm)
  • No bleed-through of ink through paper
  • Suitable for wet and dry mediums

Karst is B Corp Certified, partners with the One Tree Planted Foundation, and is 100% Carbon Neutral.
