When Aalto introduced the asymmetrical wave shape for Iittala, it won the 1937 Paris World Fair. In the decades since, it’s become a timeless symbol of Scandinavian interior design. Each precious crystal vase is mouthblown. Then pieces are hand cut before going through several polishings at the Iittala Glass Factory.
